Description

The Mishimoto performance top-mount intercooler kit (SKU MMTMIC-WRX-22KSLBK) is designed for the Subaru WRX with the FA24 2.4L Turbo engine. It replaces the stock plastic end tank intercooler with cast-aluminum end tanks and a high-flow core that is 88% larger than stock. The increased core volume delivers over 40% better flow than the OEM unit and keeps outlet temperatures within 10°F of ambient thanks to 76% more fin surface area. The mandrel-bent, CNC-machined aluminum charge pipe improves flow by 20% over the stock plastic pipe, and the integrated turbo quick disconnect reduces failure points. The redesigned shroud exposes the entire core to fresh air from the hood scoop. The kit includes all hardware needed for a complete bolt-on installation.
