Description

The Mishimoto performance top-mount intercooler (SKU MMTMIC-WRX-22SL) is designed for the Subaru WRX with the FA24 2.4L Turbo engine. It replaces the stock plastic end tank intercooler with cast-aluminum end tanks and a high-flow core that is 88% larger than stock. The increased core volume delivers over 40% better flow than OEM and keeps outlet temperatures within 10°F of ambient thanks to 76% more fin surface area. The redesigned shroud exposes the entire core to fresh air from the WRX’s signature hood scoop. A pre-drilled, tapped, and plugged 1/8-NPT port allows easy addition of temperature or boost pressure sensors. The kit includes all hardware needed for a complete bolt-on installation.
