Description

The APR Air-to-Water Intercooler System (IC100028) for the Audi B9 RS5 and RS5 Sportback with EA839 2.9T engine delivers a substantial performance leap that translates directly to more horsepower, torque, and consistency. The factory cooler struggles to cool the charged air due to its small size, generating excessive intake air temperatures. The ECU then protects the engine by pulling power during a quarter-mile run, a track lap, or even a spirited drive. The APR system resolves this with 194% greater volume (5,500 cm3 vs the stock 1,870 cm3), CFD-optimized cast aluminum end tanks, and a proprietary aluminum cooling core. CNC machined and TIG welded construction. Bolt-on installation, no ECU tuning required.
