Description

The CTS Turbo direct fit intercooler (part# CTS-R56-DF) is an outstanding upgrade for any Mini Cooper S from the R55, R56, R57, R58, R59 and R60 lineup, whether stock or modified. The high-density bar-and-plate core measuring 23″ x 1.75″ x 8.75″ (352 cubic inches) provides 283% more frontal area and 194% greater volume compared to the OEM intercooler. Cast aluminum CAD/FEM optimized end tanks maximize airflow and cooling efficiency. This kit bolts directly onto the original mounting points with no bumper trimming required. Typical gains are 10–15 whp and 10–12 ft-lbs. Compatible with all John Cooper Works variants. Ideal for Stage 1 and Stage 2 tuned vehicles. See Application Section for detailed fitment.
