This top mount charge air cooler (SKU 8109) is purpose-built for the BMW M5 and M6 with the 4.4L twin-turbo engine. Its left/right cross-flow dual-pass core configuration with 2-stage water cooling delivers significant intake temperature reduction over the OEM single-pass design. The drop-in fit design features OEM-style Quick-Connect water connections and sensor ports for fast bolt-on installation. The core is 60% larger than OEM, developed with 3D scanning technology to ensure precise fitment and maximum surface area utilization.
