The Hellwig EZ-990 Helper Spring Kit (p/n 980) is designed for the Toyota Tacoma in 4WD and Pre-runner configurations. Manufactured with heat-treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel at Hellwig's California facility, it provides up to 2,000 lb of load assist. It can also be used on 2005–2013 Tacoma models that have been swapped to the Toyota warranty leaf pack. Bolt-on installation using common hand tools. The included heavy-duty U-bolts allow independent adjustment for uneven side-to-side loads. Limited lifetime warranty.
