Description

The Hellwig 9707 contact helper spring is designed to reinforce the factory overload springs on the Dodge Ram 3500 equipped with factory contact springs, in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. As the vehicle is loaded, the Hellwig contact helper spring connects with the factory contact pads sooner, providing better support and reducing sag under heavy loads. The additional Hellwig leaves stiffen the overload springs, decreasing vehicle sag in a loaded condition. These springs mount directly to the factory contact springs for easy installation and better load support. In normal use (empty vehicle), vehicle performance remains unchanged. Silver Hammertone finish. Compatible with L6 5.9L Turbo Diesel, V8 5.9L, and V10 8.0L engines.
