Description

The Hellwig 9712 contact helper spring is designed to reinforce the factory overload springs on the Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty in 2WD and 4WD configurations equipped with factory contact springs. As the vehicle is loaded, the Hellwig contact helper spring connects with the factory contact pads sooner, providing better support and reducing sag under heavy loads. The additional Hellwig leaves stiffen the overload springs in a loaded condition. These springs mount directly to the factory contact springs for easy installation and improved load support. In normal use (empty vehicle), factory ride quality remains unchanged. Compatible with V8 6.7L Turbo Diesel, V8 6.8L, and V8 7.3L Ford Super Duty engines.
