Fabtech – Basic Lift System with Performance Shocks

Description

The Fabtech K1068 Basic Lift System provides a 6 in. lift for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks equipped with factory aluminum suspension. This system utilizes Fabtech’s industry-leading crossmember and spindle technology. Front lift is accomplished using the factory coilover shocks with steel spacers that help retain the stock ride quality. The 1/4 in. thick steel lower control arm has been formed to fit the bottom of the frame without cutting or modification for a fast installation. Extended-length steering knuckles were specifically designed for the aluminum component version, keeping track width near stock and working properly with the StabiliTrak safety functions. The front differential is relocated with heavy-duty brackets while a tightly formed 1/4 in. thick steel skid plate provides off-road protection. The rear suspension is upgraded with add-a-leafs, 5 in. tall blocks and U-bolts. Stock rear shocks are replaced with Performance shocks for increased damping. Compatible with both 4WD and RWD configurations.
