The CTS Turbo Street Sport 60 Durometer Engine Mount (part# CTS-EM-MK45-6-60D) is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory engine mounts on the Volkswagen Golf MK4 and Jetta GLI MK4 with 6-cylinder engines. Factory OEM mounts are known to wear over time, leading to drivetrain play and imprecise gear shifts. The void-free, non-liquid construction using 60 Durometer rubber provides a significant performance and feel improvement over the stock mount, resulting in a 60% increase in stiffness that remains comfortable for daily driving. The cast aluminum wrap-around OEM-style body fits directly in the factory location for a straightforward bolt-on installation. The result is improved power transfer, more direct shifting, and reduced drivetrain slop. Optional replacement stretch bolts are available: N90596906 x2 (M10x55) and N10209605 x2 (M12x1.5).
