The MagnaFlow #12229 Universal Performance Muffler is a straight-through muffler built from 100% stainless steel, engineered for high-performance center/offset builds with 3 in. pipes. Its large oval 5 in. x 8 in. body delivers high acoustic volume for a deep, aggressive exhaust note. The lap-joint welded construction ensures exceptional durability in the most extreme conditions. The free-flowing straight-through perforated stainless steel core, combined with stainless mesh wrap and acoustical fiber fill, produces a smooth, deep tone with no sound degradation over time.
