The Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler (part no. 17757) is a direct OE replacement engineered specifically for the Chevrolet Corvette (1978–1981). A key distinguishing feature is its mismatched port sizing: a 2.5 in. ID single offset inlet paired with a 2.25 in. OD single offset outlet — matching the factory exhaust system configuration. This muffler is NOT reversible; observe proper orientation during installation. The oval aluminized steel body measures 4.25 in. H × 9.75 in. W × 14 in. L with a 16.75 in. overall length. The exclusive patented flow director channels exhaust flow and eliminates turbulence, while large internal flow tubes improve exhaust gas flow and reduce backpressure.
