Description

The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit (MMBCC-C8-20P) is engineered for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette with the LT2 6.2L V8 engine. The LT2's direct-injection fuel system, while critical to its performance (495 hp / 470 lb-ft), makes it vulnerable to carbon buildup caused by blow-by. Without fuel washing over the intake valves, oil and carbon accumulate, hampering combustion and robbing the engine of power. This kit diverts oil, fuel, water, and carbon away from the intake using large ports, an internal baffle, and a bronze mesh filter. The 3 fl. oz. catch can is supported by a 2.5mm-thick steel bracket. Two bolt-on hoses with pre-installed quick-disconnects make installation straightforward.
