Description

The BBK Oil Separator Kit for the Camaro SS 6.2L is CNC machined from solid billet aluminum. The oil collection tank features a knurled base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. A high efficiency multi-stage filter system collects fine oil vapor droplets and deposits them into the easily removable bottom, ensuring only clean, oil-free air passes into the intake. The kit installs in minutes without special tools and includes factory-style PCV hoses and connectors for a bolt-on passenger side installation. A must-have for the 6.2L engine: crankcase pressure vented through the PCV valve into the intake causes oil vapor to coat intake valves, burn in the combustion chamber creating carbon buildup, and dilute gasoline lowering its octane level. This kit eliminates this common issue in modern high-compression engines.
