Description

The CTS Turbo Catch Can Kit (part# CTS-CC-MK5TSI) is the premier PCV oil vapor recovery solution specifically engineered for Volkswagen 2.0 TSI engines in late MK5 chassis vehicles, compatible with the Golf GTI MK5, Jetta GLI MK5, and Passat B6. On direct-injection engines, oil vapors from the PCV system can enter the intake manifold and deposit on intake valves, causing reduced performance, poor fuel economy, and potential damage to delicate intake flaps and engine components. This kit includes a CNC machined billet aluminum valve cover breather, a billet aluminum catch can with a billet oil-level dipstick, -10 AN Black-Series braided hoses, a mounting bracket, a modular intake manifold plug, and a hose-wrangler clamp. Installation is completely bolt-on with no drilling or permanent vehicle modifications required. All mounting hardware and a new rear PCV O-ring are included. Note: catch can liquid may freeze during sub-freezing temperatures — monitor fluid levels or remove the unit during winter months. For use with a CTS Turbo engine mount, also order CTS-HW-426.
