The Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate (MMOP-SPT) is built from lightweight, high-flow 6061 aluminum. The built-in thermostat prevents oil flow to the cooler until engine oil reaches activation temperature, enabling faster warm-up at startup and extra oil system protection in cold climates. The included 185°F thermostat is easily replaceable with a 160°F or 200°F unit for unparalleled control over your desired oil operating temperature. Easy to install (difficulty: 1/5).
