Description

This Billet Aluminum LS Engine Adapter Kit (Ref. 35621) from Derale features a built-in 180°F thermostat to help reduce engine wear and horsepower loss. The oil thermostat allows oil to bypass the cooler until it reaches 180°F, at which point the internal thermostatic valve closes and forces 100% of the oil through the cooler while maintaining a constant pressure system. This allows the engine to reach ideal operating temperature faster before circulating oil through the cooler — perfect for cold climates.
