Description

The Banks Power Derringer (Gen 2) is an OBD-II diesel tuner bundled with the iDash 1.8, designed specifically for the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD equipped with the Duramax L5P 6.6L Turbo Diesel engine. Dyno-calibrated, it uses multiple data inputs (throttle position, RPM, vehicle speed, AFR, knock, coolant temperature, EGT) to safely optimize calibrations in real time. It offers 6 power levels adjustable on-the-fly via iDash, adding approximately +12 hp per level. The ActiveSafety circuit monitors the vehicle 100 times per second and instantly bypasses the module upon any anomaly. Simple plug-and-play bolt-on installation with no ECM reflash required. Compatible with iDash, PedalMonster, and other Banks devices.
