Red Line Power Steering Fluid (ref. 30404) is a synthetic power steering fluid designed to satisfy the requirements of most auto manufacturers. It can be used where the manufacturer calls for any ATF such as Dexron, Dexron II-D/II-E/III, Ford Type F, Mercon, or Gear Oil as required by Ford, AMC, Toyota, Nissan, Lexus, Infiniti, Jaguar, VW, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, SAAB, Subaru, Volvo, Porsche, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and many others. It also satisfies GM Spec #9985010 (PN 1050017/1052884), Chrysler Spec #5931, and Ford Spec M2C33-F, as well as the hydraulic specifications of Denison HF-O, Vickers vane pumps, and Sundstrand piston pumps. Operating viscosity is 50% greater than petroleum fluids, with 1/5 the evaporation. Replaces: GM pt# 12345982, Ford pt# XL-4, Toyota pt# 08885-80108.
