Description

The MB018 from ACT is a Heavy Duty pressure plate that uses an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load by 20 to 50 percent, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency. This pressure plate is recommended for use with a street or race disc. It is compatible with the Monoloc system, a one-piece direct replacement for the standard two-piece wedge collar and wire ring found in pull-type clutches. The Monoloc provides uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate to assure proper alignment regardless of driver influence or vehicle modifications. Its hardened chrome-moly steel construction ensures years of service. Designed for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 2.0L.
