Description

The Dinan billet short-shifter kit (D550-1004) effectively reduces the amount of throw necessary to make gear changes, providing a sportier feel. Unlike generic kits, Dinan short shifters are application-specific to achieve a precise 20–25% reduction in throw, without making gear selection difficult. The shifters retain the original nylon pivot ball and shifter bushing, providing the same smooth and quiet operation as the factory unit. Unlike competitor metal-component shifters (noisier and notchy), the Dinan shifter is also rubber-isolated for a solid feel. The two-piece 416 stainless steel and aluminum stick assembly ensures vibration-free operation. (See Application Section)
