Description

The B&M Transpak Kit (part #40227) is designed to recalibrate the Ford AOD automatic transmission (1980–1992, excluding models with electronic shift). It offers two modes: Stage 1 HEAVY DUTY for firm, comfortable shifts ideal for street rods and regular passenger vehicles, and Stage 2 HI-PERFORMANCE STREET for high-performance use with quicker shifts. The Transpak allows downshifting at any speed and holding first gear as long as desired, an asset for trailer towing or driving heavy loads downhill. Transmission removal is not required.
