The B&M Transpak Recalibration Kit (part no. 50229) is designed for Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmissions found in Ford Mustang models. A step up from the Shift Improver Kit, it allows full recalibration of all shift points with two selectable modes: Stage 1 (Heavy Duty) for firmer shifts without harshness, and Stage 2 (Hi-Performance Street) for much quicker shifts. It allows downshifting at any speed and holding first gear to any RPM – ideal for modified engines, trailer towing, or driving heavy loads downhill. No transmission removal required. Includes gaskets, drill bits, retaining ring, brass plug, and shift valve.
