Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 55157 XD Forged Tie Rod Kit is designed to address the well-documented strength limitations of the factory Toyota Tacoma steering tie rods. The inner tie rod and ball stud are CNC machined from 4140 chromoly with metal-on-metal bearing surfaces, offering far superior durability over OE plastic-race components. Adjustment threads are 12% larger in diameter than stock for increased strength. The outer tie rod is forged steel matching the OE profile for compatibility with all factory and aftermarket wheel sizes. The outer tie rod end is a metal-on-metal joint with grease zerks for extended service life and full OE range of motion.
