Description

The APR Roll-Control Rear Sway Bar FWD Independent is purpose-built for front-wheel-drive MQB and MQB EVO platforms with independent rear suspension on Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. Manufactured from high-tensile strength steel as a single CNC-bent piece with no welds, the 25mm diameter hollow bar with 5mm wall thickness significantly reduces body roll during cornering while maintaining daily driving comfort. The hollow design reduces mass without compromising stiffness. Bar ends are forge-pressed and quench-hardened for maximum strength and durability. The APR spring rate is 655 lbs/in (fixed), representing an increase of +108% over the factory MK7 GTI bar and +88% over the MK8 GTI. Polyurethane bushings and mounting hardware are included. Red anti-corrosive powder coat finish. Bolt-on installation with no modifications required.
