AutoMeter – Marine Trim Level Gauge

Description

The AutoMeter Marine Trim Level Gauge (ref. 200766-33) in 2 1/16" size with a silver dial lets you precisely monitor the trim angle of your boat's outdrive. A boat's attitude in the water can be controlled by trimming the outdrive/propeller unit relative to the stern. As the drive is trimmed up, the prop pushes downward, lifting the bow out of the water. Trimmed down, the force aligns with the hull, keeping the bow lower. Depending on the trim angle, you can improve speed, fuel economy, comfort, and control at a given RPM. The gauge connects to a resistance-based sender in the outdrive pivot, measuring resistance from fully down to fully up. Traditional incandescent lighting illuminates around the perimeter of the dial.
