Mishimoto – Thermal Bypass Valve
Description
The Mishimoto MMTC-L5P-TBVFF full-flow thermal bypass valve is designed for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD trucks equipped with the Duramax L5P V8 6.6L Turbo Diesel. The stock valve is prone to failure, preventing transmission fluid from reaching the cooler and causing the Allison 1000 transmission to overheat. Our CNC-machined aluminum unit eliminates the internal thermostat and provides maximum continuous flow to the transmission cooler under all operating conditions. Strategically machined internal passages and cooling fins in the valve body further improve heat dissipation. Durable black anodized finish.
