Description

The Airaid 310-511 Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm. Compatible with the Jeep Wrangler equipped with L4 2.5L and L6 4.0L engines (see Application section), this spacer utilizes the patented Helix Bore design to spin the incoming air charge as it passes through the throttle body. The spinning air action boosts the velocity of the incoming air and contributes to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture as the air charge enters the combustion chamber, resulting in more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power. Constructed from aircraft quality billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a red anodized finish, this 4-Barrel Open spacer with 25 mm thickness installs in less than one hour with no drilling or cutting required. This product is CARB exempt (EO: D-609) and street legal. Gaskets, hardware and brackets are all included. New. Sold and shipped by GBP Performance.
