Description

The AIRAID 400-602 Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm on your Ford Excursion, F-250 or F-350 Super Duty. The spacer utilizes its unique, patented Helix Bore 4-Barrel Open design to spin the incoming air charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. This spinning action boosts the velocity of incoming air and contributes to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. The end result is more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power. Machined from aircraft-quality billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a red anodized finish, this 25 mm thick spacer installs in less than one hour with no drilling or cutting required. Gaskets, hardware, and brackets are all included. Compatible with V8 5.4L, V8 6.0L Turbo Diesel and V10 6.8L engines. This product is CARB EO D-609 certified and street legal for on-road use.
