B&M – Automatic Transmission Torque Converter

Description

The B&M Nitrous Holeshot 3800 (ref. 20485) is specifically designed for heavily modified vehicles equipped with big cams and a plate-type nitrous system, for GM TH350, TH375, TH375B, TH400, and TH425 transmissions (See Application Section). With a stall speed of 3500–3800 RPM, it is the ideal choice to fully exploit the instant power of a nitrous plate system, launching the vehicle into the RPM range where torque is most readily available for maximum acceleration. It features a furnace brazed impeller and turbine, a new precision steel alloy pump drive tube, heavy-duty needle bearings between the stator and impeller as well as between the stator and turbine. Includes dual drive lug patterns (10.75 in. and 11.50 in.), a new turbine hub, new springs/rollers in the stator, and anti-balloon plates designed to withstand the instant power delivery of a nitrous plate system.
