B&M – Automatic Transmission Torque Converter

Description

The B&M Nitrous Holeshot 3800 torque converter (ref. 40477) is designed for Ford C6 3-speed automatic transmissions. It is an excellent choice for vehicles with a nitrous plate system and for heavily modified engines with big cams that reduce low-end torque. The high stall speed launches the vehicle into a higher RPM range where more torque is available, improving acceleration. Anti-balloon plates allow this converter to withstand the instant power delivered by a nitrous plate system. Features include a furnace-brazed impeller and turbine, a precision steel alloy pump drive tube, heavy-duty needle bearings between the stator and impeller, and new springs and rollers in the stator. Compatible with Ford Mustang vehicles (see Application section).
