Description

The CURT 12188 is a Class 2 trailer hitch engineered specifically for the Ford EcoSport with 1.0L Turbo, 1.5L, and 2.0L engines. Built from high-strength steel with robotic welding, it delivers a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. tongue weight. The concealed main body provides an OE look and seamless vehicle integration. The 1-1/4" receiver tube accepts a standard ball mount shank or compatible accessories. Finished in a durable gloss black powder coat co-cured with a rust-resistant liquid A-coat, inside and out. Installation requires drilling, temporary exhaust lowering, and part removal (trimming optional). Tested to SAE J684 safety standards. Made in the USA (may include imported hardware). Installation hardware included.
