Description

The CURT 12221 is a Class 2 trailer hitch engineered specifically for the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix with 1.8L and 2.4L engines. Built from high-strength steel with robotic welding, it delivers a weight carrying capacity of 2,500 lbs. GTW and 250 lbs. tongue weight. The round main body is exposed once installed. The 1-1/4" receiver tube accepts a standard ball mount shank or compatible accessories. Finished in a durable gloss black powder coat co-cured with a rust-resistant liquid A-coat, inside and out. Bolt-on installation requires no drilling; minor fascia trimming may be required on certain models. Tested to SAE J684 safety standards. Made in the USA (may include imported hardware). Installation hardware included.
