Description

The CURT 13112 Class 3 trailer hitch is engineered for a vehicle-specific fit on select Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer models equipped with 4.0L or 4.6L engines. With a weight carrying capacity of 5,000 lbs. GTW and 500 lbs. TW, it handles utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, and more. Compatible with a weight distribution hitch (8,000 lbs. WD / 800 lbs. WDTW). Built from high-strength steel with precision welding, protected by a gloss black powder coat co-cured with rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out. Bolt-on installation with no drilling required (~30 minutes). Open-back receiver tube for easy cleaning. Tested in accordance with SAE J684. Made in the USA.
