Description

The CURT 13409 Class 3 trailer hitch is engineered for vehicle-specific mounting on select years of the Subaru Forester equipped with the H4 2.5L engine (see Application section for compatibility). With a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 525 lbs. tongue weight, it handles utility trailers, boat trailers, campers and snowmobile or ATV haulers. The round, exposed main body provides a robust installation. Installation requires hole enlargement (drilling required) and takes approximately 30 minutes. Built from high-strength steel with precise welding, protected by a gloss black powder coat finish co-cured with rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out. Open-back receiver for easy cleaning. Tested in accordance with SAE J684. Made in USA (may include imported hardware). Installation hardware included.
