Description

The CURT 13417 Class 3 trailer hitch is engineered for vehicle-specific mounting on select years of the Ford Ranger equipped with the L4 2.3L Turbo engine (see Application section for compatibility). With a weight carrying capacity of 6,000 lbs. GTW and 900 lbs. tongue weight, it handles utility trailers, boat trailers, campers and snowmobile or ATV haulers. Also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing up to 8,000 lbs. WD / 900 lbs. WDTW. The concealed square main body integrates seamlessly with the vehicle for an OE appearance. No drilling is required and installation uses pre-existing vehicle hardware (~30 minutes). Built from high-strength steel with precise welding, protected by a gloss black powder coat finish co-cured with rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out. Open-back receiver for easy cleaning. Tested in accordance with SAE J684. Made in USA (may include imported hardware).
