Description

The CURT 13447 Class 3 trailer hitch is designed for the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD / 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD / 3500 HD equipped with the V8 6.6L or V8 6.6L Turbo Diesel engine (see Application section). It features a 2-inch square receiver tube with a gross trailer weight capacity of 8,000 lbs GTW and 800 lbs tongue weight. It is also compatible with a weight distribution system for an increased rating of 12,000 lbs WD and 1,200 lbs WDTW. Built from rugged, high-strength steel with precise welding, this hitch provides a vehicle-specific fit. The co-cured finish combines a liquid A-coat primer and gloss black powder coat for superior protection against rust, chipping and UV damage. Bolt-on installation requires no drilling and can be completed in approximately 30 minutes. Excludes vehicles with factory receiver, cab & chassis or Tommy Gate lift depending on the model. Tested in accordance with SAE J684 safety standards. Made in USA.
