Description

The CURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch (Part #13548) is engineered specifically for the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot with an L4 2.0L or L4 2.4L engine. It provides a weight-carrying capacity of 4,000 lbs. GTW and 400 lbs. tongue weight. The 2-inch square receiver tube features an open-back design for easy cleaning and fits a wide range of towing accessories. The concealed main body integrates seamlessly with the vehicle's factory appearance. Built with high-strength steel and precision welds, the co-cured finish of gloss black powder coat and liquid A-coat provides superior resistance to rust, chipping, and UV damage. Installation note: On Compass models with the Rallye Package, fascia trimming is required. Installation also requires temporarily lowering the exhaust. Easy bolt-on installation in approximately 45 minutes — no drilling required, all hardware included. Tested in accordance with SAE J684.
