Description

The CURT Xtra Duty Class 5 Trailer Hitch (Part #15300) is engineered for select Dodge D-series and Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks from 2000 to 2002. It provides a gross trailer weight capacity of 16,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 2,400 lbs. Compatible with a weight distribution hitch (17,000 lbs. WD / 2,400 lbs. WDTW). The 2-inch open-back receiver tube fits a wide range of towing accessories. The large-section main body delivers exceptional load capacity. Built with high-strength steel, precision welds, and a co-cured carbide black powder coat and liquid A-coat finish for maximum protection against rust, chipping, and UV damage. Grade-8 hardware included. Drilling is required for installation (60 minutes, moderate difficulty). Tested in accordance with SAE J684. Made in USA (may include imported hardware).
