Description

The CURT Xtra Duty Class 5 Trailer Hitch (Part #15302) is designed as a factory replacement hitch for the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD / 2500 HD Classic and GMC Sierra 2500 HD / 2500 HD Classic with a 6-foot bed. It provides a weight-carrying capacity of 16,000 lbs. GTW and 2,400 lbs. tongue weight. Compatible with a weight distribution hitch (17,000 lbs. WD / 2,400 lbs. WDTW). The open-back 2-inch receiver tube accepts a wide range of towing accessories. Precisely welded from high-strength steel, co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid A-coat and finished in a high-quality carbide black powder coat for maximum protection. Made in USA (may include imported hardware). Bolt-on installation in approximately 30 minutes — no drilling required. Tested in accordance with SAE J684.
