The Mishimoto Thermal Bypass Valve Kit (MMTC-GMP-TBV) addresses a known failure point on Mopar vehicles: the factory thermal bypass valve, which acts as a thermostat regulating fluid flow to the external transmission cooler. These factory units are prone to sticking in the closed position, causing transmission overheating. This Mishimoto replacement kit provides a reliable solution for Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger equipped with V6 3.6L, V8 5.7L, V8 6.2L Supercharged, and V8 6.4L engines. Direct bolt-on installation, black finish. Covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
