Description

The MSD Ignition APS Starter (SKU 5093) is designed for Ford FE V8 7.0L high-compression engines in Ford and Mercury vehicles. A 3-horsepower electric motor paired with a 4.4:1 gear reduction delivers strong torque for reliable starts. The OEM tooth count and factory bolt pattern allow for bolt-on installation without modifications. The downsized housing clears most headers and oil pans, while the billet mount can be clocked in multiple positions to fit tight applications. Ball bearing-supported armature and pinion gear ensure smooth engagement and lasting durability. Finished in MSD red powder coat.
