Description

The B&M locking automatic transmission dipstick (Part #22173) was designed to allow vehicle owners to quickly and easily check their 8L90E 8-speed automatic transmission fluid level and quality without a dealership visit. Designed for GM trucks and SUVs equipped with the 8L90E transmission, it features billet aluminum fittings, braided stainless steel tube, and a black mil-spec anodized 6061-T6 aluminum cap and bracket. This rugged unit replaces the factory plug on the transmission and mounts in the engine compartment for easy routine service. The locking knurled cap and stamped fluid level indicator complete the assembly. Compatible with select Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500 / Yukon models.
