The AMP Research BedStep2 (Ref. 75407-01A) is a retractable side step designed for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500 HD, 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD, 3500 HD. It mounts just behind the cab, forward of the rear wheel, providing faster, easier and safer access to toolboxes, equipment and cargo in the truck bed. This frame-mounted step can be installed on either side and flips down or retracts with the nudge of a foot. Engineered to support loads up to 300 pounds, it features high-strength aluminum alloy components with precision stainless steel pivot pins. Drilling is required.
