The factory rubber induction hose features accordion-style flex joints that are prone to degradation, hardening, and cracking over time, causing post-MAF leaks and lean air-fuel ratio issues. This Mishimoto hose is built from 4-ply silicone with embedded heat-resistant fibers and an internal wire-reinforced design for optimal structural integrity in any driving condition.
