From the B2 EFR Series, the EFR 9180 is for applications looking for big power without the lag! This is an advanced ball bearing turbocharger with Gamma-Ti turbine wheel technology which greatly improves spool-up. EFR turbos have the competitive advantage over other brands thanks to the lightweight turbine wheel material which cuts turbine inertia in half vs. Inconel.

Gamma-Ti (aka Titanium Aluminide) is commonly used in aircraft turbine blades which provides strength and weight reduction. Since it requires less energy to accelerate the wheel, higher speeds can be reached sooner and as a result the on-engine boost response improves while the competition is reaching for the NOS button to catch up! EFR 9180 is sized just right for single turbo applications making 600 to 1,000 HP or up to 2,000 HP in twin turbo configurations! This turbo also is a top choice for race applications that need quick boost and a sizable powerband!
