Description

The CTS Turbo K04 turbocharger upgrade (part# CTS-TR-1070) is designed to fit directly in place of the factory Borg Warner or IHI turbo found in Audi A4, A5, Allroad and Q5 B7/B8/B8.5 2.0T vehicles. This unit features a full-frame K04 CHRA installed into CTS Turbo’s proprietary in-house designed K04-specific compressor cover and turbine housing — this is NOT a hybrid. The billet compressor wheel (machined from solid) and heavy-duty thrust bearings ensure performance and long service life. OEM+ manufacturing tolerances, VSR high-speed balanced. With supporting mods, this turbo is capable of producing 350 HP/340 TQ on a 2.0T. OEM installation kit with gaskets included. Important notes: high-flow catalytic converter recommended; K04-specific tuning required; B7 A4 requires upgraded HPFP and fuel injectors; bracket on coolant line may require trimming on some models.
