Description

The APR Kit (MS100221) is a comprehensive charge air upgrade for the 2.0T EA888 Gen 4 engine (GTI/A3 platform), combining five individually sold kits into one. It covers the entire pressurized air path from turbocharger to intercooler, and from intercooler to throttle body. The key difference from the R/S3 version is the inclusion of a CNC machined billet aluminum turbo muffler pipe that increases outlet cross-sectional area by 66% by replacing both the factory muffler and its outlet hose. An integrated PCV vent path is included. Turbocharger sound is enhanced, and boost builds faster. The 60mm satin black aluminum charge pipes, multi-ply fluorosilicone silicone hoses, and Clampco T-bolt clamps complete the system. Bolt-on, emissions friendly.
