But what started as a way to earn a few bucks to pay for Bob's racing hobby, quickly became the premier manufacturer of exhaust pipes for both the racing and street markets.

Originally designed for straight-line drag racers, Hedman's reputation for building exhaust pipes that gave you the most horsepower for your money quickly spread. It wasn't long before Hedman Hedders became the brand of choice among elite engine builders, racers, and racing series.
