Description

The CTS Turbo air intake kit (part# CTS-IT-165) is designed specifically for the Mini Cooper S R56 equipped with N14 and N18 engines, covering both North American and Euro-spec models. The OEM air scoop works in conjunction with the CTS airbox to seamlessly force cold air into the intake system. Air then flows through the high-flow inverted cone air filter for maximum engine breathing. The CNC mandrel bent aluminum intake pipe allows for smooth cold air entry into the engine, delivering peak power gains ranging from 9 to 15 HP. The kit also includes 4-ply silicone connectors, stainless steel clamps, a high-flow airbox, anti-rattle bracketry, a vent hose adapter, and a MAF delete for Euro-spec vehicles. Direct bolt-on installation. All components work together to provide increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race-inspired sound.
